Once a Month, Fun Fridays at Harvest Newrybar
After a brief hiatus during winter, Fun Fridays are back at Harvest Newrybar. With live music, delicious food and pop-up cocktail bars to keep you entertained – this ongoing event makes for a relaxed start to the weekend. It’s both dog and kid friendly. BYO picnic blanket and find a spot on the green!

Every weeknight (Monday to Friday) from 5pm ‘til 6pm Moonlight offers one of the happiest happy hours in Byron! Select any wine by the glass or any beer from their drinks list and any skewer from the food menu for just $15 because happy hours shouldn’t just be about booze they should include food too!

Because we all love to lunch! Pixie Food & Wine’s new lunch offering serves up a rotating menu of seasonally driven specials and old favourites for just $55. Making the most of new spring produce, the team change the menu every week so there’s always something different to try. Located a short walk from The Bower in the Jonson Lane precinct, Pixie Food & Wine brings an Italian twist to coastal dining in a relaxed and beautiful designed space by Flack Studio.

Sunday 24 Sept – Brookie’s X The Smoking Camel Distillery Party
To celebrate the launch of their collaboration gin, Brookie’s and The Smoking Camel are hosting a free to attend party at Cape Byron Distillery on Sunday 24 September from 1pm. Sip on cocktails made from their new Turkish Delight Gin, snack on food by The Smoking Camel and lap up the rainforest views from the distillery’s famed balcony. Did we mention there’s a live DJ set too!

Sat 7 October – Habitat Flea Market
The Habitat Flea Market is abundant with clothing treasures. Held every few months, this is by far the largest second-hand fashion market in the area. Byron is the home base of many Australian labels (Nagnata, St Agni, Spell just to name a few) so you’re guaranteed stalls from those who work in fashion and are constantly refreshing their wardrobes. Bring cash and if you feel like you might need to try something on be sure to wear a dress or something that makes for easy public changing as there are no change rooms.

Sat 7 October – Flight Facilities at The Beach Hotel
ARIA-award winning electronic duo, Flight Facilities, will be hitting up Byron’s much-loved pub, The Beach Hotel, for their Decades Tour! The live set promises to dig deep into the 1970s through to music of today, fans can anticipate anything in these extended sets – from disco bootlegs to electro edits, indie anthems, prized underground classics and more.

Strap in and buckle up as Lunar Disco and friends polish their dancing shoes for the return of SUCK MY DISCO in Byron. For anyone who hasn’t seen this duo live before they are well worth putting your party pants on for.

SAT 4 NOV – Spring Gathering at Frida’s Field
One of our favourite destination lunch spots, Frida’s Field is hosting a community event on their beautiful property. Catch the sunset over the hills while sipping on drinks by Common People Brewery, Cork & Co Wine, Feels Botanical and Le Tonic. There’s also gourmet bites to snack on and live music.
The kids will be entertained with a range of natural activities – flower crown making with The Flower Bar Co; nature wand making with the First Byron Scouts; and tepee making with The Bangalow Men’s Shed which will use natural materials foraged from around the Frida’s Field farm.
Tickets are just $12 for adults and $6 for kids
