WHAT’S ON: Falls Festival

Falls Festival tickets went on sale a week ago and if past years are any indication, they’ll sell out fast. So too will accom in Byron, with 25,000+ rusted-on music lovers descending on our coastal paradise.

 
And not everyone wants to roll into a tent after a day spreading their love across a massive roster of multi-genre live music from local and international artists. For ours, we love our music, but love our 5 star creature comforts as well, and each of the bespoke luxury holiday accoms at The Bower is bursting with those!
 
The Falls farm is a 25 minute drive from The Bower in the North Byron Parklands but with event bus shuttle services right at The Bower door, it’s easy to avoid the traffic and parking hassles. There’s something to be said for flopping into a tent after a quick dip in the pop-up pools at the festival, and there’s something else to be said about flopping into a 5 star, linen-draped bed after a long, night swim in the beautifully elegant, round Bower swimming pool, surrounded as it is with the comfiest of daybeds and lush towering, softly up-lit palm trees.
 
The switch from festival mode to sophisticated luxury holiday mode is easy. Spend the day immersed in music, the makers’ markets, visual arts and creative installations, pop-up bars and beer gardens, interactive games and more, then come back to The Bower to chill out with a pre-ordered gourmet platter from our in-house Hamper and Platter menu, an in-house massage or private yoga class, before you head back to The Falls farm next day for more. But you might want to stop next door at The Byron General Store for a steaming cup of local coffee, freshly squeezed juice, delicious bacon and eggs, buckwheat waffles or one of the vegetarian and vegan options before you jump on the shuttle bus.
