NEWS: The Bower Pool is Here!
The Bower guests-only swimming pool is finished and it is, quite simply, dazzling, from the beautiful lines of its exquisite circular design to the 5 metre high palms, craned in to create the lush and dynamic pool surrounds. The once large rectangular lawn at the heart of the bower compound is now a 5 star tropical pool oasis which echoes the bower’s design theme of tropical beach modernity with a decisive new york twist. It’s instantly ig-worthy, and a credit to the vision of the owners and architect john burgess, who also put his stamp on the spectacular makeover of the bower suites and bower house.
No smelly, harsh chemicals here! Ours is a heated, natural mineral pool and that means a luxury, rejuvenating, relaxing swimming experience, with softer, silkier, clearer water. It’s gentler on the skin and gentler on the environment. Win-win in our books.
The pale grey concrete terrace surrounding the pool, blends seamlessly with the soft blue/green glass bead internal pool finish, making the pool appear to be carved out of its surrounds. And the sweeping, gently curved steps and shallow beach area is the place to sit and chill and immerse yourself in the quiet and calm of another sun-soaked Byron day. The littlies, not so adept at swimming, will be drawn here too for a bit of splash and giggle – unforgettable family time to stash in the memory bank.
There’s a zen-like outdoor rain shower nestled into the tropical garden which is abundant with Heliconias, Kentia, Bangalow, Rhapis and Cabbage palms and one very majestic Canary Island palm which sits like a giant sentinel at the entrance to the pool gate.
